Hey Guys,
I'm Selena. Hmm, where shall we start? There's so many things we have to talk about. How about me, first. Okay, well. I'm from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where I am now, and also from Denmark, Europe. A big change in weather and is very far from eachother. Well, I go to school at ISKL (International School of Kuala Lumpur) and I love animals. Especially dogs. I used to be a vegetarian, for about a year, but stopped, because my Mum worried about my growth and that I should eat more protein. I am a neat-freak! I dare say, you might NEVER see me EVER be a bit messy. I'm organized and I get stressed and worried if something goes wrong. E.g- I forget homework at school, but it still is due a week after, I have no internet (we use internet a LOT at my school), my homework takes me a long time to finish. All these things make me go crazy! Over the fence kind of crazy. Oh and just to let you guys know, I exaggerate quite a lot. DRAMA QUEEN. This is going to be so fun! Communicating with people across the world. Well, Malaysia, where should I start? Hmm, well first of all I think Malaysia is a gorgeous country that has so much greenery! But one day after another trees get cut down for paper. How sad. Well, one thing for sure is that we traffic everyday. AND RAIN! Ohhh, rain.... Here, we don't have seasons. It stays hot all the time. No winter in Christmas, no Spring or Fall. Just hot weather, all year long. Of course, maybe to some of you, you will like this. I- I don't. I always have wished to see snow. Never have. Back to Malaysia. Here we have Orangutans and MONKEYS! Some are cute- on the outside. But they are not that tame or cute. Some are scary. Orangutans have these LONG LONG arms that help them to climb from trees to trees. Oh, and here, we have mosquitos. Loads of them too. And some of them are dengi mosquitos, which can kill people. That is one of the Malaysians concerns. One of our most known buildings here is K.L.C.C. KLCC stands for Kuala Lumpur city center. It is or used to be the highest building in the world. And, it also has a little shopping kind of place at the bottom, where people go to shop. It's beautiful, because it has parks and pools outside for little kids to go and run around in. We have many more malls here. One of my favorites is Pavillion. Very new and modern, and at night ALL the lights turn on and it has the most beautiful sight anyone could see. Where Pavillion is- is right in the middle of everything, where the best hotels are, where there is ALWAYS traffic. Pavillion's area is like the city center. My school. Well, I have been in ISKL since 3rd grade and now, in 6th, I think I know a big deal about this school. Our rules are to be repectful to people and kind. To share and Care. And also, we have School Learning Results- Learn Enthusiastically, Collaborate Constructively, Communicate Effectively, Think Creatively, Live Ethically, Reason Critically. I think I covered all of them up. Well, I love my school! We do all these activities together and do all these fun things together. One of them is Malaysia Week, which is coming up so soon! TOMOROW! It's where different groups of people from grade 6,7 and 8 go to different places and spend a week there doing all sorts of things. Snorkeling for four hours and discovering beautiful nemo fish and turtles or doing something more hard, and hiking for 12 hours up a hill to see the sunset. There are SO many things you can do, and we are all looking forward to it. If any of you guys are going to visit Malaysia, I'll think that you will be fascinated. I know I didn't even cover up half of what Malaysia is about, but I can't think anymore! Thanks guys, hope you guys have a better idea about what Malaysia is like!
Stay tuned....
Selena.
